Prismertec II is simple to set up and operate, and uses less water and salt than many other softeners. This first class efficiency is due to a design, which includes high efficiency monospheric resin, an advanced rotary valve and an advanced memory electronic control system.
In tune with your enviroment
Prismertec II has been designed to make a minimum visual impact, wherever it is placed. The product will fit inside a standard 600mm wide kitchen base unit; and can in some cases even slide beneath a sink or drawer. Ergonomically designed, with clean smooth lines and neutral colours, Prismertec II will compliment a wide range of kitchen styles and rarely needs more than a quick wipe over to stay looking as good as new.
Cost effective softened water
All water softeners regenerate periodically, using salt and water in the softening process. The Prismertec II incorporates a series of advanced processes to ensure that regeneration takes place ony when necessary, saving salt, water and in turn energy.
Proportional Brining
The intergrated electronic control system monitors your softened water usage making only enough brine (salt solution) to regenerate that part of the resin bed that has been exhausted. In this way the amount of salt used relates directly to the amount of softened water used, making it more efficient and cost effective.
Counter Regeneration
This means brine solution first passes through unused resin at the bottom of the resin bed, ensuring that the whole bed is treated without any wastage. This reduces the amount of water used in the regeneration cycle.
Monitoring your lifestyle - for greater efficiency
The advanced memory electronic control system used on the Prismertec II thinks for you - always ensuring you have the correct amount of softened water ready to use. As a result, it constantly works to minimise the amount of energy, salt and water it uses.
Day by day, hour by hour, the prismertec II captures data on the amount of water you and your family use, and stores the information in its memory. The regeneration cycle is usually programmed so that in the early hours of the morning the Prismertec II will assess its remaing capacity of softened water and adjust its operation according to the coming day's needs. Distinguishing between high usage days, usually weekends, and low usage weekdays, and will only regenerate when necessary. It will even tell you when it's running low on salt.
